Specialized Lab Materials and Equipment
During your training at Kaplan Career Institute, Broomall campus, you will have the opportunity to work with materials and equipment used in today's workplace:
- Health care programs utilize exam tables, minor surgical instruments, lab testing machines and equipment, lab sinks, phlebotomy equipment, EKG machines, simulated exam areas, and CPR equipment.
- Computer labs and classrooms are equipped with computers, printers, modems, DVD/CD drives, multimedia equipment, network switches and routers, routers, and diagnostic software.
- Labs for computer repair courses utilize test equipment including signal generators and oscilloscopes.
- Technical programs provide training on equipment that can be found in the field, including electrical hand tools, electric voltage and clamp-on meters, tubing cutters, flaring kits, vacuum pumps, charging scales, digital thermometers, combustion analyzers, ice machines, and other equipment required for training.

The campus is easily accessible via I-95, Route 1, Route 202, I-476, the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276), and Schuylkill Expressway (I-76). If you need public transportation, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus line number 112 runs between the 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby and Broomall and stops directly in front of Kaplan Career Institute at Sproul Road.
